Engineers Yukon E.I.T. Committee
The Engineers Yukon EIT Committee was formed in May of 2022 to support Engineers in Training by:
- Ensuring EITs understand and meet the requirements for licensure.
- Providing support to EITs and newly-licensed Engineers during the licensing process.
- Providing opportunities for EITs and newly-licensed Engineers to connect with other licensed Engineers for mentorship and professional development.
The Committee's program goals include:
- Support EITs through the licensing process.
- Determine and respond to challenges faced by EITs and newly-licensed Engineers in the Yukon.
- Develop and maintain a mentorship program for EITs and newly-licensed Engineers in the Yukon.
- Identify and provide opportunities for peer networking and mentorship.
- Build a sense of community among EITs and newly-licensed Engineers in the Yukon.
- Collaborate with other Engineers Yukon committees and other young professionals groups.
The EIT Committee is a great resource for those going through the P. Eng licensing process. Many members have experience with APEGA's latest competency-based assessment application. Reach out to us at eit@engineersyukon.ca if you have questions or would like some support with the process.
Events and programs put on by the EIT Committee will be advertised through Engineers Yukon by email.
If you have ideas for the Committee or would like to get involved, reach out to us at eit@engineersyukon.ca.
